Hello, and Welcome back to my Blog! This week my Reading group and I have been learning about Inferencing. Our Goal is to consistently draw conclusions and get meaning from text by 'reading between the lines'. I made a poster with a photo on it explaining what I think is in the picture by looking at the picture and getting clues from it. I hope you like my work! What do you think is in the picture?
Kia ora, I am a student at St Francis of Assisi School, Welcome - Haere Mai. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note my work may include spelling or other errors because some of it will be my first drafts. Wonderful Persuasive Writing
Kia Ora and Welcome back to my blog! This week my writing group and I have been looking at persuasive writing. For my create Because we are in Lockdown right now I have wroten a peice of persuasive writing about if all Schooling should be online. What do you think. Should all schooling be online? I hope you like my work!
Should All Schooling Be Online?
Do you want to sit at home all day while you struggle with school
work? Definitely not! Hi, my name is Sophie, and I am here today
to tell you that learning should stay at school. Who needs it to be
online anyway?
Learning should stay at school because that is where it belongs.
What if there is a test and someone just searched up the
answers? You can't really punish them now, can you? If your
students are misbehaving, what can you do about it if you are
online?
Other parents have jobs too, and when they go to work who will
look after their child? If the child was at school then that
problem would be solved.
School would be really boring online for all students because it is
just staring at a screen all day long. They won't pay attention and
then they won't learn anything.
At school it is an opportunity to make friends and see your
friends like during break. But if you had a break at home you
won't be able to see your friends.
In conclusion, I highly recommend that our learning should be at
school. Who would want them online anyway?
