Fantastic Fractions

Hello and welcome back to my blog! This week for maths my maths group and I have been learning about fractions. I have made a screencastify with three difrent maths questions on it. One with 1/3, one with 1/4 and one with 1/5. Have you ever made a screencastify before? I hope you enjoy my work! And remember to grab some headphones!

  1. Hi Sophie,

Loving the alteration in your heading, and the catchy colours you have used in your slide. You gave a very clear video on how to work out the fractions, I could tell that your really enjoyed it, and understood it. Isn't it great to be able to use Screencastify, more exciting than pen and paper. Wish it was around in my day. Do you enjoy doing fractions?

  3. Hi Sophie,

When I was at school, I remember doing fractions. It seemed hard to me then. But now, you are so lucky to have different strategies to get an answer. I wish it was like that in my day. As for using fractions, I love having pizza, and dividing it up into fractions so, we can all share. But I have to make sure they are even, otherwise it is a fight for the biggest piece!
